just more pics

This must have been in Cabo.
Lunch at the awesome beach-side restaurant!

Peurta vi arta
It took us a while, but we eventually got brave and made it into the ocean to swim. It was awesome.
The pool.
This is Cabo before going ashore.
In the middle of nowhere!

That is all the pictures I have, now I have to wait for Brittany to get me some more!

Baby lions!

In Cabo San Lucas there was a booth where you could hold a baby lion and get your picture with it for $25. Jordan and Britt thought that was awesome. Not only did they get to hold the baby lion, but the babies got hungry so they let them feed them too. It was one of the hi-lights of their trip for sure.

How cute!

A few more pics of Mexico

Vern and Joy!

Our "glorious" sleeping quarters.

A little about the cruise itself:
We realized we are not cruise people. The first day and a half Brad and I slept because we felt weird being on the ship. The Dramamine probably made us sleepy. There were a pack of Obnoxious, Drunk all the time, college kids that seemed to have no where else to be but where we were. We ended up eating way to much sometimes just to entertain ourselves.
Me and Britt on the ship (once I finally woke up)

Things we enjoyed about the ship: the pretzel rolls, the entertainment, especially Sam Sykes aka Mr. Motown, Murray the Magician was good and they had an awesome juggler, Romano something.

We mostly enjoyed Mexico and visiting each port. Cabo San Lucas by the time we were able to get off the ship we only had time to shop, but it was fun. Mazatlan, we chartered a taxi and an awesome taxi driver, Carlos, who took us around to shops and to an awesome restaurant on the beach. Brad and I orderd the shrimp for two and it was huge. More like, shrimp for 4. Puerto Viearta was great we went to the beach and swam in the ocean until we were all so sunburned we came back. The weather on the way back was stormy so it made the ship sway and made Brad and I really sick and it was cold so you had to stay inside the ship. Needless to say, we were greatful to be home. We enjoyed going with family.

The view from the restaurant

The bill for our dinner.....good thing it was pacos!

These photos are of us on the way to the green building that had all the fun things to buy like t-shirts, jewelry, purses, Mexican vanilla, you name it....they had it!

Britt by some flowers and palm trees

They had pharmacies everywhere!

Britt, Jordan, Carlos, Sierra and Colleen, the beautiful building behind them was a disco!

After driving us all over town, Carlos stopped at a little shop in Mazatlan to get us a "surprise" he came out with a bag of yummy mexican candy.

No hair pictures!

In case you are wondering, I still don't like my hair, so no pictures until I post cruise pictures in which I will have no choice but to show my hair. The crazy thing is, is that Britt and I use the same lady and have always been happy with her, but she messed up Britt's hair so bad. Britt wanted some more blonde, but it turned out yellowish orange. I feel bad for her, and the lady doesn't have time to fix it (for the third time) until after we get back.
Oh my. Good hairdresser anyone???

A little catch up!

Brittany finally emailed me the pictures. Here is a little update of the happenings around our house lately. We mostly have just been working and cleaning and getting ready for vacation, so nothing too exciting.
Chuck in 3-D
Brittany got us some glasses and we all watched Chuck in 3-D!
Even Tank!

More 3-D Fun!

Happy Birthday Joy!

Feb. 11 was my mother-in-law, Joy's Birthday. I really do have the best mother-in-law in the world. She is the most selfless, loving, caring, as close to perfect as you can get person I know. I am blessed to have her in my life and so grateful that she is my children's mother in law.
For her birthday we took her and Vern out to dinner at Mandarin House, then got her an icecream cake from DQ and just had a nice celebration. We got her a gift certificate for the mall so she can buy herself some new clothes since she is getting super skinny for the cruise.
Joy and her Sweetie Pie, Vern!

We love you guys!

My first tag....how cute!

I was tagged to show the 4th Folder/4th Picture. Thanks Melissa! It is not a very good picture, but it is what it is. It is from the New Years Party at my brother- and sister-in-law, Brian and Cori. They have every toy you can image. This is one of those toys that molds around whatever you put in it, i.e. your hand, etc. Kaden decided to put his face in it. There was too much glare from the camera, so you can't even see his face good.

Help!

I have not been blogging because Brittany has not sent me the pictures I need to add new posts, so I am just going to keep blogging until she gets around to it.
Reminder: Britt I need photos of grandma's birthday, Chuck in 3D, etc. etc. I am sure there is more and I just can't remember.
Anyway, we leave on our cruise in like 8 days or so. I got a mini-makeover for the trip, got my hair cut SHORT, hi-lited, worked out so I am a little less flabby (didn't lose much weight though), went to the dentist and got my teeth cleaned, got some crest white strips. I am too old for this. I will post a picture of my hair when I decide that I don't hate it.
Anyway, I am wanting to take a good book to read in the airport, etc. I have already re-read Twilight way too many times. Does anyone know of a good book to read. Sappy love story or even non-fiction? Help me out. I don't want to read any romance book that will make me blush just looking at the cover. I want a good book. One that I won't want to put down. So let me know!!
Coming soon: pictures of my new short hair!
