F.H.E.

Tonight for Family Home Evening we watched the DVD "The Forgotten Carols" It was so good and put us all in the Christmas mood. Everytime I cry. There are just some movies, okay, most all the movies I watch, where I cry. My other favorite movie is "Savanah Smiles" I hadn't seen it for years and then the girls bought for me last Christmas, every time I know what happens and every time I cry. Let me know if anyone wants to borrow either movie. They are both good if you need a good cry. I cry at the Forgotten Carols because I feel the spirit so strong and it makes me so grateful for all the Saviour has done, does now and will continue to do for me throughout my life, and Savanah Smiles because .... oh gosh, I am crying just thinking of it...you will just have to watch it!

Tissues anyone?

More decorating pics....

Putting on the lights!

Jordan trying to put lights inside the angel before we decided that she didn't look very nice because her face was broken and glued back together.

More lights....shortly after we decided that we needed more lights and we were hungry so we headed off to Lowes and Gerties!

No pictures of Kaden and Jake....Kaden had a friend over and was playing, Jake was probably texting his girlfriend.

Getting closer to finished...

Happy Birthday Brad!

Brad turned the big '42' on Saturday. Friday night we went to Johnny Carinos and had Italian nachos and raspberry Italian sodas with cream!

Saturday was kinda crazy, he deserved a much better birthday, but Jake had a game at 9 a.m., then we had our ward Christmas party at 10 a.m., then the girls and I had to do some shopping and go to Jenna's bridal shower and then his parents came over and ate dinner with us and then of all the joyous things to do on your birthday we went to Winco and went grocery shopping! Poor guy. I got him some sweet guitar hero pj's, I will have to take a picture of him in them. (all this after having to put up the tree and put all the lights on it)

Happy Birthday Brad - We love you!

Let the decorating begin....

Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree....

We finally found a day (afternoon) where we could all meet and pick out the tree. We let Britt and Jordan pick and they decided we needed a really tall tree. Our tradition is to buy one all bound up with rope and be surprised when we get home. Well, the girls picked the perfect tree and we spent the weekend off and on decorating it.

The tree...all 11 feet of it.

Britt decorating the tree before having to leave and cheer at the game.

We also got out our Nativity set to find that Joseph did not fare well in the move. So Jordan lovingly spent hours gluing him back together!

Thanks Jordan. It looks so nice and it helps us to remember the reason for the season.

Oops, I just noticed I forgot to put Joseph back up before I took the picture. I will have to take another one later.
