As part of my job at the newspaper, I deal with putting information on new businesses in the paper. I got some information on a new business in the Magic Valley and thought it was quite interesting.

Mexican Riviera Here we Come......

Yes, that is right! We are going on a cruise. Well Brad, Brittany, Jordan and I anyways. We are going with some family and decided to take Jordan for her graduation present and Brittany because she may soon get married and leave us so we want to spend some good quality time with her before she does (no she is not engaged, but she does have a missionary that gets home in August).

Anyways, we are going with Brads parents, his brother's family, Brian, Cori and two of their kids (Cody and Lindsay), and his sister, Colleen and her husband Rob and their youngest daughter Sierra.

We are going during spring break and we are super excited! We are looking forward to good times with our family and some sunshine!

We have never been on a cruise, so if any of you have any good tips let me know!

Britt's New Car!

Britt has wanted a new car for about a year. Brad told her to start saving her money and when she had a good amount saved she could sell her car and get a new one. She saved and was able to sell her car so we went car shopping and this is what she picked. She didn't have enough to pay for the whole car so she is making payments and trying to get her credit built up.

It is so cute, it is making me want a new car!

More Vegas Pics

These are not necessarily in order...that is too much work!

We went to Toby Keiths Bar and Grill. They had a live band playing. The food was really good and they served the sodas in huge mason jars. The music was loud, at one point everyone in the restaurant -including me and Jordan- was singing along to Garth Brooks, Friends in Low Places and it was so loud you could not even hear yourself sing (which is good, or else I would have stopped - I'm bad) But it was a fun time.

We had a tv in our bathroom. I thought it was cool. Jordan thought I was funny for actually watching it. Hey I was watching a good show about a family that had a little person and they didn't want him to be alone so they adopted a little person from China to be his brother....so sweet!

Jordan and ex President Bush. You had to pay extra to get you picture taken with Obama...we were too cheap...we already paid $25 a peice to get in there.... and then they want to charge you more. No thanks! He didn't look good, I think he had a rash.


It looks like I wore the same shirt the entire time we were there, I didn't, we just took the camera out with us one day. FYI

The Wax Museum

Brad, Jordan, me and another couple who we know from the credit group all went to the was museum. I didn't think I would enjoy going to a wax museum but it wall really, really fun. All the famous women are teeny tiny, I felt like a giant standing next to them.

Pinewood Derby

Kaden's Pine Wood Derby was on Jan. 27. Kaden and his dad worked really hard on his car. And he would not have done so good if it wasn't for Terry Tramner, he is probably one of the best pine wood derby car builders we know!

Anyway Kaden got second place out of 23 cars! He was happy and it was a good time. Our new ward sure does take this pine wood derby thing serious though! Good thing we came prepared!

Way to go Kaden!
