Bunnies in, turtles out!

We had a momentary lapse of good judgment and allowed Jordan and Kaden to purchase two bunnies (they said they didn't want just one because it would be lonely -made sense at the time-)
This is Bugsy.
This is Charlie.

Kaden and Bugsy.

Jordan and Charlie.
As of now, they have all of us wrapped around their finger. They are very sweet and cute!

Soccer

Kaden is getting really good at soccer, well goalie anyways. He played goalie almost the entire game on Monday. And we won 1 to 0!
Kaden you rock!

This is the one time he was not goalie, but he was a defender (he is in the white shirt).

Britt and my mom watchin the game.

Jake and Britt, lookin stylish!

Easter...

Mike and Kelly came down for Easter. Kelly and I planned a little Easter egg hunt for the kids in the back yard. Autumn and Ryan stopped by so they joined in on the fun.
Kel and me fillin eggs (and possibly eating a bit of candy in the process)!

Me and Britt showin off our filled eggs.

Britt with the Golden Egg. We decided to do a golden egg hunt like our friends the McBrides. So we hid $50 in one and $5 in two. Britt did not find the golden egg and she was super mad!

It was hard for the little guys to stay out of the office while we stuffed the eggs.

Ethan and Aaron in lockdown before the hunt.

Bailey, Britt and Tays waitin for the hunt to start.

Jack and Kaden wishin for the hunt to start!

Kaden and his loot. We haven't done Easter at our house for so long (because I tell the kids that Easter is about Jesus not about the Easter Bunny) that we had to buy Kaden an Easter basket at the store.

Taylor and Bailey lookin for more eggs.

Bailey + Sugar = Pure Joy!
Cindy Lou Who!

The End!

Birthday, Mothers Day, etc.

This what I want for all my next holidays combined:

A beautiful Spring day!

I can't remember now, but a week or two ago the weather was so so nice. So we all went outside and played some basketball.

And then Tuesday morning I woke up to this.......

Teenagers????

Brittany painted Jake's fingernails recently. He thought it was cool and even wore it to school!
They are a delicate shade of lavendar in case you can't tell.
The shame of it all.....

Kids

Kaden is trying to talk me into letting him get a pet. I have agreed to maybe consider a turtle, I told him to look turtles up on the internet and see what they eat, etc.
He just turned to me and said there are lots of kinds of turtles, what kind do you think is best? Also, mom you could blog about it.
Funny!

Costco rocks!

On our regular shopping trip to Costco, Brad and I noticed that they are starting to get a lot of food storage items. We got some moo milk, potato pearls, and these really cool shelving units to put your cans in. They were only $20. One holds 40 cans. We bought two. And it makes so much more room in the pantry!

Kaden's new dirt bike.

He got to try it out on Saturday since the weather was so nice. He is in the front and his brother from another mother, McCoy, is in the back.

Riley's Birthday

Saturday we went to the Greaves to wish Riley a happy 3rd birthday! Riley loves Brad, they are pals. One Sunday he cried all the way home because he wanted to stay at church with Brad. We love babysitting him when his parents go on dates and Riley loves hanging out with Brad.

Pals!

Bowling with the Millers

Brittany, Jordan and Jake went bowling with their friends the Millers. Bryson and Brinley. They had a blast. They must have made Jake take all the pictures because there are no pictures of Jake.

Brittany is kinda sweet on their older brother, Brody, who is on a mission in Spain and gets home August 25. And it turns out Jake is sweet on Brinley.
The Millers own Magic Mountain and they have a Lynx. Yeah, they are that cool!
Anyway they had a fun evening of bowling!

Never say you are going to blog all night..

Because then people will come over for a visit and your mother will call you and talk for 107 minutes and you will not get any blogging done!

Brittany and Jordan go to Pocatello

When we got back from our trip Britt and Jordan made a trip to Pocatello to see Mike and Kelly and the kids. They had a super good time!

Uncle Mike thought it would be a good idea to bring home baby ducks.....not a good idea, they went back to the store (the ducks, not Mike!)

Jordan and Will cuddling....how cute!

Bailey and Britt! She is just like Britt, only I think she is going to have more attitude. I love it!

I AM SO MAD!

The DVR cut off American Idol early so I don't even know what Adam sang :(

When I grow up.....

I want to be like Marjorie Pay Hinkley, she is my hero!

*"Be kind. Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." — Marjorie Pay Hinckley

*"We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." — Marjorie Pay Hinckley

*"Home is where you are loved the most and act the worst." — Marjorie Pay Hinckley

*"The grand and the simple. They are equally wonderful." — Marjorie Pay Hinckley

*"The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache." — Marjorie Pay Hinckley

*"Be a Mother who is committed to loving her children into standing on higher ground than the enviroment surrounding them. Mother's are endowed with a love that is unlike any other love on the face of the earth." — Marjorie Pay Hinckley

*"How did a nice girl like me get into a mess like this?" — Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Coming soon.....blogging extravaganza!

The husband is out of town on business, the kids are having friends over, Kaden has scouts, so besides American Idol and The Biggest Loser, I don't have to do anything at all except blog (housework can wait)! I am going to blog, blog, blog. So all you five whole people that actually read my blog, check it out! haha
General Conference was awesome! I came away from it feeling very "fed" and the last couple of days I have just had a great love and appreciation for all of my family members. My kids are super great kids. Kaden had a problem in school a several weeks ago and we had a talk with the teacher and worked on it. Today I had Parent/Teacher conference and she said he has fixed all of his problems and she was very proud of him. Me too!
And Britt cleaned the kitchen for me and bought me an Edward book mark.
And Jordan and Jake are sweet and fun to be around. They make me laugh. I am so lucky and blessed to have them in my life. And I am grateful for a husband who honors his priesthood and takes care of his family. Now days you don't have to look very far to see people who dont' have these kinds of blessings in their lives. I do and I thank Heavenly Father daily for them!

So, now that I am done with work and I have had my Birthday Cake Remix from Cold Stone...I am ready to blog!

Go Adam!

Go Mikey!
I love the way you kicked Jillians butt last week!
